The basic rules that govern using this website, buying a ticket, and attending the Summit. Plain English first; the long-form version replaces this draft before tickets go live.
This website is provided as-is, for educational and informational purposes. Content may change without notice. Forms are best-effort; we respond as time allows but make no guarantee of response time on any specific message.
Tickets are processed by Eventbrite. Eventbrite's terms of service apply to the transaction itself. Refund and transfer policies for the Summit are listed on the Tickets page and on the live Eventbrite listing — the Eventbrite listing is the authoritative version of the refund policy at the time of purchase.
Attendees agree to the Code of Conduct and a participation waiver as a condition of attending. The Summit reserves the right to remove any attendee whose conduct conflicts with these standards, without refund. The optional Take It to the Streets field block requires a separate signed waiver.
Nothing on this website or at the Summit is legal advice for your specific situation. Speakers and sponsors share their views; the Summit does not endorse every claim made on stage. For your situation, consult qualified counsel in your jurisdiction.
Site content, logo, and visual identity are the property of the 1A Auditor Summit. Templates and resources we publish are free to download, use, and adapt for non-commercial educational use. Speaker materials remain the property of each speaker.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
This is a working draft. The final terms will reflect the venue agreement, ticketing vendor, and waiver language and will be published before tickets go on sale.
