We're building a faculty of citizen auditors with track records, civil rights attorneys, public records practitioners, independent journalists, and creators who can teach disciplined practice. Self-nominations are welcome.

What we look for

Credibility, teaching ability, and alignment with the Summit's lawful, citizen-side mission. We review nominations on a rolling basis. Strong fits we can't slot this year stay in queue for the next.

Who qualifies

  • Students — full-time enrollment in college, journalism school, law school, or related programs
  • Low-income attendees — household income near or below local median
  • First-time auditors — never attended an auditing event before
  • Decisions monthly — confirmation immediate; awards rolling

Scholarships are funded by Scholarship Partners and cover the General Attendance pass. Travel and lodging are not included.
